Read Logan County Court Dockets

Words such as motion, order, judgment, disposition, sentence, bond, continuance, and arraignment are labels for events, not always the final result. A dismissed charge, reduced charge, amended pleading, or continued hearing can change what the next entry means. Restricted Logan County Dockets
Some dockets or docket details are not public. The 15th Judicial District lists sealed records, adoption records, certain criminal investigation records, expunged criminal records, many juvenile and child-in-need-of-care records, and grand jury proceedings as unavailable through public access. Rule 22 can also limit what appears electronically even when some courthouse access exists.
Warrant-related records can be sealed before execution. K.S.A. 60-2617 addresses sealing and unsealing warrant-related records and court records. A missing online docket should be treated as a prompt to verify with the correct court, not as proof that no case or event exists.
When a docket entry is public but the document is not online, use a written request to the Logan County Clerk of the District Court. The 15th Judicial District says court-record requests receive a response within seventy-two hours, and reasonable fees for staff time, expenses, or third-party electronic help must be paid before release.
